an open platform that enables artists and cultural workers to initiate actions for a fair art field
an infrastructure of support for these initiatives, driven by experienced volunteers
a bottom-up movement striving for inclusivity, fair practice and more solidarity
a horizontal umbrella organisation in which we take decisions together for SOTA to thrive as a whole
WHAT DOES SOTA DO?
SOTA brings together artists & cultural workers around relevant (artist’s) issues
SOTA reflects, informs and publishes on these issues, to reimagine our conditions
SOTA organises seasonal meetings, several smaller cafe’s throughout the year
and working groups on a regular basis.
SOTA advocates for fair arts practices, raises artists’ voices on the political front and protests in the street when necessary
