Structure of the working tables
@ 11:30 - 17:30
The work conference ‘How do we work together’ has NINE WORKING TABLES, each exploring SIX CURRENTS, according to some PROCEDURES .
The tables are:
1: SOLIDARITY BETWEEN ARTISTS AND ORGANIZATIONS/INSTITUTIONS
2: SOLIDARITY AMONG ARTISTS
3: SOLIDARITY AMONG INSTITUTIONS
4: SOLIDARITY WITHIN A STRUCTURE/ORGANIZATION/COMPANY
5: SOLIDARITY WITHIN A PROJECT
6: SOLIDARITY BETWEEN CITIES OR COUNTRIES
7: SOLIDARITY BETWEEN FUNDING BODIES AND FUNDING SEEKERS
8: SOLIDARITY BETWEEN PRIVATE AND PUBLIC PARTNERS
9: SOLIDARITY BETWEEN THE ARTISTIC SECTOR AND OTHER SECTORS
Each table explores the notion of Fair Practice through the the lenses of the following
SIX CURRENCIES or POWERS:
A: FINANCIAL
B: IMMATERIAL/INTELLECTUAL/CREATIVE
C: MATERIAL/PHYSICAL
D: VISIBILITY
E: COMMUNICATION
F: DECISION-MAKING
PROCEDURE FOR EACH of the NINE TABLES:
> start the discussion with one or more CASE STUDY that concerns the table’s relational sphere (concrete examples of what could be considered fair practice are especially desired)
> address the table’s relational sphere in terms of the 6 CURRENCIES/POWERS as talking points
> has a MODERATOR whose role makes sure all 6 Currency/Power talking points are addressed within discussion time, and seeks common points, summaries, and concise articulation of the problems, knowledge, and concerns shared at their tables
> has a NOTE-TAKER whose role is to document the discussion process and conclusions
> produces a concrete statement or PROPOSAL of what would constitute fair practice within their table’s relational sphere.
> shares/reports that proposal with the rest of the tables/participants at the end of the work session
