On Sunday December 3rd, members of the cultural community are invited to join the Climate March in Brussels, just a few days after the start of the controversial COP28 in Dubai. We’re demanding social and fair policies that protect us and our environment.
During the Climate March, we join the citizens who sued the four responsible Belgian governments through the Climate Case, because they do not keep up with the international agreements. The Climate Case holds the Belgian government accountable by taking it to court, enforcing them to commit to ambitious climate policies. This week it was announced they won this case!
Furthermore, SOTA supports the manifesto More Than Enough, a new initiative by a group of artists, activists and scientists. Join them in conversation during the march!
Start > 13h in Brussels North. Gather from 12h45 at 27 avenue du Roi Albert II, on the aisle near the sculpture Heaven and Earth.
Music > Zinneke will bring her mobile music cart. Do you have a song we absolutely must play here? Send it to us! Do you make music yourself? Bring your instrument!
Clothing > dress warmly and put a strikingly colorful hat on your head
Banners and protest signs > On Saturday 02/12, from 14h – 18h, Greenpeace is organizing a Banner workshop. Or make your own poster with the Climate March online tool.
